The 19th Annual Children Come First Conference

The cost is reasonable and the content addresses a wide range of issues that pertain to families facing mental illness and behavioral challenges in their children. The Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services estimates that close to 90,000 Wisconsin children are affected by these disorders.  We all know the value of early identification and early intervention in addressing this issue.

AFSCME is launching live workshops and self-paced learning modules for independent providers throughout the fall of 2008.

Independent Provider Trainer Tom Copeland of the Red Leaf Institute will teach two webinars:

·        Introduction to Family Child Care Recordkeeping
October 23, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. EST/6:00 p.m. PST

·        Coming to Terms: Establishing a Business Relationship with Parents
October 28, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. EST/6:00 p.m. PST

These Trainings are led by Tom Copeland of The Red Leaf Institute
