Patti & Tim Albrecht are amazing people you need to know! Not only have they been the leaders of the O.U.R support group for over 15 years now but they have sucessfully operated 2 licensed family child care homes for many years.

OUR meets monthly a Gateway Technical college in Racine. Patti and Tim organize trainings for providers in their area at minimal or no cost. The training topics include CPR, First Aid and other important relevant topics where providers earn continuing education hours. CCPT has welcomed the opportunity to present several workshop there as well. In addition to organinzing the trainings they are always available to providers in many other ways: answering child care questions over the phone, giving advise, providing technical assistance, helping with paperwork, assisting with setting up providers environments, or helping out by donating toys or books to others in need.

Tim and Patti have been providing care to children in their homes for over 35 years. First as a city certified provider in Wyoming for over 15 yeasr and now as licensed programs for 20+ years. Sadly they closed the doors on their second program 2 years ago when the bad floods hit their neighborhood. Patti has earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood while raising 5 teenagers! She also volunteered her time helping in her church nursery. In addition, Tim has held a full-time position as a postal worker for the past 30 years.

We have a lot of respect for hard working providers like you! Keep up the great work and don't forget to take time for yourselves.
